After doing my California Quail quilt, I had been having fun making Birds in the Air blocks so I did another one using them. These quail are in a Mendocino meadow with a home tucked in the trees. they are feeding under one of the many wild roses bushes there. The quail are hand painted with soft-edge appliqué roses and house.
